School 2011-2012 Begins

Kids first day of school was a hit!  One in third grade and the other starting middle school.  The joy that they have is so overflowing!  Love you kids and you guys are going to do a great job this year.

Great Surprise

Came home the other day and low and behold, I had a SCENTSY box waiting for with my name on it!  I opened the box and found a Star Spangled Full-Size Scentsy Warmer from my niece!  I was filled with so much joy when I opened it and started smelling 'skinny dipping' scent around my home.  Loved it!  We Thank You Lesley & Levi!

Moving Once Again...

Moving once again... The crosses are up and set in place.  This chapter in my life will be life changing experience for the good.  Trusting God and putting Him first has made a world of a difference in my life.  Looking at things through His eyes is so amazing.  Seeing the good of all things, makes life so much more pleasant.  

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - THINK ABOUT SUCH THINGS. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me - put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Phi. 4:8-9

Cooking Spree

Some people get into these shopping sprees and I have to say those are nice if you have the patients to find that perfect outfit.  Although that was not my case, I had a COOKING SPREE, that's right 'cooking spree.'  Where you just cook home cooked meals non stop.  

Saturday night I made ground beef, fedo and corn for dinner and for dessert I made these awesome APPLE DUMPLINGS.  They were awesome with a Breyer's Butter Pecan Ice Cream on the side.

Tuesday night we got this huge cold front come in and I felt the best dinner for this night was CALDO DE RES, Yummy!

Here we are, Wednesday and Kyle has a 50% chance of SNOW!  So I made Turkey Chili.  It was so delish.

Sun Set @ Vantage

I have been so busy that I have not gotten a chance to post anything on here so I'm taking a little bit of my work time to load a picture of the sun set taken from my balcony at the apartment.  I finally got a chance to have a glass of wine and watch the sun set.  It was awesome.  I totally love the way the building points to the sun fall.  Its gorgeous.  Not much going on but me trying to settle in and get things ready for the kiddos to come home, which is in five days!  I can't wait to see them.  This vacation has been the longest with them both being away from me.  I love them tons and can't wait to have them in my arms again.
