In Honor of Beverly Dube

So I did my first 5K for the NOCC in honor of Beverly Dube. I set a goal for $300 to raise in honor of her and I collected $740. Thank you to all that donated, very generous of you guys to do that. The same weekend was also Bev's birthday and the family and I went to her grave to plant some plants that will stand this drought and heat that we have here in Texas. We love you Beverly and miss you so much. Pray that you continue to watch over us and always.

Hank's Pool

We bought a pool for Hank, finally! He loves it and enjoys jumping in and out of it too.

Nimitz Musuem in Fredricksburg, TX

My honey took me out to Fredricksburg, TX for some good food at Hondo's and we went to the National Museum of the Pacific War. It was very interesting and I took a couple of photos of the Japanese Garden of Peace. It was so nice of my honey to take me out there.

Vacation Bible Celebrate

I took my kids and my brother's kids to Vacation Bible Celebrate at Celebrate Life Church in New Braunfels for a whole week and they had a blast. I took pictures of them each day in the car on the way over to VBC. Each day they learned a bible verse. The vacation bible celebrate was called the Big 3 for Love, Faith & Hope. It was awesome, the kids learned so much and hope that they take the message with them as they grow.

Monday: Love -

Tuesday: Faith - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Thursday: Hope - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised) Hebrews 10:23

Willie's Place

We went to Dallas for the weekend because I had some family that were going down there and we pretty much hung out and just spent time with the family. On the way back we stopped at Willie's Place, which is where I have been wanting to go since they opened the place up. It was pretty cool. I liked it a lot. I took a few pictures. Enjoy!

This picture below was pretty cool because it lit up inside the guitar.

Below are some guitars he had displayed. They are so nice. Loved it!

Alexis Girls in Action Camp

Alexis attended a three day girls camp with the Bannockburn Baptist Church, Girls in Action at the Twin Oaks Ranch in Buda, TX. She had a great time. Didn't get much pictures but of her cabin and bunk. She did a lot of swimming and got to do the Zip-Line they had there. She was very happy about that, she said it was exciting.

This was her cabin, there were seven girls and a leader in each cabin.

This is where she slept, there were eight bunks in the cabin.
